During the month of  August, the Municipal Theatre Baltazar Dias offers to the public an exhibition titled “Memories of the Theatre Baltazar Dias”. This exhibition will have place at the atrium and in the show room of the theatre and reunites several memories of a nearby past, where we can find photos of the theatre’s history, three elements from plays that are exposed for the first time since its restore and sceneries from the assets of the Culture and Tourism Department.

The exhibition is open from the 3^rd to the 30^th of August , from 9.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. and from 2p.m. to 5.30 p.m., on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday s and Fridays. The  entrance is free .

The City Hall of Funchal, once more aims to promote the culture and offer to the residents of the island and the tourists,  an opportunity to have a firsthand look of these items that are part of the Theatre’s history.
