Alberto Sousa was born in Madeira and started his musical studies in the former Conservatório de Musica da Madeira (Madeira Music Conservatory). Graduated from “Ensino de Canto” in the University of Aveiro where he studied with António Salgado and mastered in “Performance” in “Curso de Opera de Guildhall School of Music and Drama”, in Laura Sarti’s singing class. In the United Kingdom, where he lives and works, Alberto recently sang at La Bohéme (Puccini) with Clapham Opera Festival, Die Fledermaus (J. Strauss), Danupe Opera in St. John’s Smith Square, Faust (Gounod) and in Swansea City Opera in a tour through the country.
