Drawings exhibition by Fagundes Vasconcelos titled “Presente Jazz de Corpo” and photography exhibition, entitled “City of Jazz”, by Renato Nunes.

From 11th to 17th of July, at the foyer of the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre.

Drawing and records performed at the Scat Music Club & Restaurant, during the jam sessions of the Funchal Jazz Festival 2015 will be presented to the audience at the Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre.

Fagundes Vasconcelos returns to the jam sessions, in 2016.

In an homage to the blind poet of Madeira and in the theatre that bears his name, you can make a tour throughout some of the records presented.

The sound represented in images, a formula that enhances the permanent dialogue between the man and the world, between the night and the smoke and others demonstrations, through languages that interact with each other, will be available to the spectators during the Funchal Jazz Festival 2016.

The official photographer of the event also presents in the Municipal Theatre an exhibition of photographs taken on the main stage of the previous edition of the festival.

Kurt Elling, Joe Lovano, André Fernandes, Christian McBride, Miguel Zénon, Terence Blanchard and the several musicians of their groups will also be on the spotlight of the exhibition of Renato Nunes.
