Obras de W. A. Mozart, M. de Falla, C. Franck, E. Bloch

Born in St. Petersburg, Natalia Morozova began her violin studies at the age of seven, in a special school for young talents, and continued at the Moscow and St. Petersburg conservatories. She launched her career as a soloist when just 13 years old, with concerts at the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and in Kremlin, Moscow. Since then she has given countless recitals in concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Carnegie Hall in New York. She was soloist with orchestras such as St. Petersburg State Orchestra, Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra and the Budapest Philharmonic, among many others.

Morozova also participated in chamber music festivals, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Festival, where she played side by side with famous musicians such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Bela Davidovich and Marta Argerich, and at Valery Gergiev’s festival “Stars of the White Nights”. She teaches masterclasses all over the world, including cities such as Boston, Lyon and Rotterdam. Since 1991 she resides in the Netherlands and teaches at the Codarts – Rotterdam Conservatory.

The recital programme includes, in addition to a charming Mozart sonata, the most well-known transcription of the famous Spanish Folk Songs by de Falla, an emotionally intense work of Jewish inspiration by Bloch, “Nigun”, and one of the most important violin and piano sonatas of late Romanticism, by César Franck.
