Actress Sara Barros Leitão plunges into the immense estate of the Experimental Theater of Porto, with which she works regularly, and opens drawers, shakes the telegrams, rehearsal tables, minutes, contracts, photographs, recordings, shows. And you find people, stories, memories, and unfulfilled dreams among account reports, censorship records, and newspaper clippings. “It’s a cross between what we read and what we imagined happened. It’s an attempt to retrieve the unanswered card. It’s all those lives, which like a paper, are also three ages. It’s a collage, an appropriation, an attempt. ”Sara Barros Leitão’s first authorial work, The Three Ages Theory takes shape from these lives on paper, between these real and imagined beings.
