The conferences have to purpose of bringing to the public the texts that are done or that are still being prepared for the Great Encyclopedia of Madeira. For its regularity and general interest, the conferences intend to be part of the city’s calendar. The event takes place on a monthly basis, from different fields of knowledge, connecting ephemerides or national and internacional celebrations, contributing to raise public awareness regarding its traditions and historical memory.
