Of Mice and Men”

“Of Mice and Men” is a show based on a book written by John Steinbeck in 1937, which tells the tragic story of George and Lennie, two farm workers in California during the Great Depression (1929-1939). George and Lennie are friends, but very different. George is short, thin and smart. Lennie is very strong but tremendously ingenuous. The only thing that bonds them is their friendship, the fact that both were marginalized by the system, as well as they are both men without nothing in life and no family.
In a plot full of masculine tension, the only woman in the play is Mae, Curley’s wife, who is the boss’s son. The main conflict of the plot is about her character.
