Synopsis
“The Show Must Go On” tells the story of Musical Theatre from the “Golden Years” of MGM when Rodgers and Hammerstein were king and Agnes De Milles choreography graced the stage, through the birth of the rock, dance and epic musical in the 70’s and 80’s, right up to the age of the juke box and alternative musical that we so often see today, with hits such as “We Will Rock You” and “Mamma Mia” changing the Musical Theatre world forever! Set in the backdrop of a New York apartment, with that imposing skyline in full view, the audience will witness this remarkable and epic story told through the songs of some of Musical Theatres most loved Composers and Lyricists including Webber and Rice, Boublil and Schonberg, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Sondheim and many others.
